Why did Excel just blindly go along wth Sunday being the first day. Everytime I need top look at days I have to wrtie a bigger formula.

Excel Facts

Copy PDF to Excel
Select data in PDF. Paste to Microsoft Word. Copy from Word and paste to Excel.
Conform to what exactly ?

And anyway, it's not that difficult if you want to do something different.

Where A1 contains date for a Sunday . . .

=weekday(a1) returns 1
=weekday(a1,1) also returns 1
=weekday(a1,2) returns 7
=weekday(a1,3) returns 6 (with Monday as 0)

There now, that wasn't so difficult was it ? :-)
