Hi everyone,I’m encountering an issue in Excel where column J continues to be visible, despite taking the following steps:
  1. Set the column width to auto-adjust.
  2. Cleared all content from column J.
  3. Adjusted page scaling to fit the content to one page.
Unfortunately, column J still appears.

Things I’ve Tried:

  • Cleared all content (including formatting) in column J.
  • Checked for conditional formatting or hidden spaces.
  • Adjusted margins and scaling settings.
None of these solutions have resolved the problem. I’ve attached a screenshot for better understanding.

Questions:

Has anyone else faced a similar issue? How can I ensure that column J doesn’t appear?
P.S.: While I know I can manually adjust column I by dragging it to the right, my concern is that I used to achieve a one-page fit by adjusting margins and scaling settings (with auto horizontal and vertical centering). This time, however, it's not working as expected, as shown in the attached screenshots.
Thanks in advance for your help!

Easy bullets in Excel
If you have a numeric keypad, press Alt+7 on numeric keypad to type a bullet in Excel.
Try to make column H wider, and then you will have the page width

Have you checked if a Print Area (including column J) has been erroneously set ?
