Hi all,
I've recently acquired what I believe is known as a 'floater' (stop snickering) in my vision, which manifests itself as a dark patch just to the right of where I'm looking and follows my eye's movement around. It's really noticeable on bright things, like a sunny sky or, particularly distressingly, a computer monitor displaying a lot of white.
Is there any setting buried somewhere that will allow Excel, Word, Access, etc, to show white text on a black background by default? It might save my sanity!
I use other people's spreadsheets a lot, and need to share them, so giving each document a black background won't really work.
Alternatively, if anyone has any suggestions on alternative email, word processing, etc., programs that might offer a solution, that might be good too!
Thanks in advance.
Bill
