I am looking for some information and material on formulas and functions for Excel. The ones I particularly use are if, iserror, vlookup, countif and would like something to refer to for help with these and informatin on anything else I would find useful. What suggestions do you have for books or other material to purchase?

When did Power Query debut in Excel?
Although it was an add-in in Excel 2010 & Excel 2013, Power Query became a part of Excel in 2016, in Data, Get & Transform Data.
Why not start with Excel's helpfile?

There are a lot of formula tips here though: www.contextures.com

As for products, check out the store at www.mrexcel.com. Bill Jelen (aka Mr. Excel) has several books on Excel available.

Hope that helps,

I'm a casual home user that has started getting serious with Excel. I'm disappointed with Microsoft's `Help' with formulas; this is a great website!

For books, I recently purchased `Escape From Excel Hell' by Loren Abdulezer. It is under $20, has a CD with samples & "take aways". The book has 3 parts: Fixes under 30 sec., under 2 min., and elaborate. I haven't worked with the CD yet, the text has opened many ways to do things "smarter".
