Which is the null and alternative hypothesis?

Hi,

I'm really confused from this statement which is the null and alternative hypothesis. I had search all over the internet and it doesn't help at all.

Here is the statement "Over the years of conducting these customer satisfaction surveys we have established an agreed target whereby 80% of customers should be either satisfied or very satisfied with the services provided. Does your statistical analysis support the attainment of this target in each of the service branches?"

In a test like this the null hypothesis is the "no" result: Fewer than 80% of customers are satisfied.
The alternative is that they are.

Seems a bit weird but the idea is that you try to disprove the null hypothesis.
