I have intermediate Excel skills but none whatsoever VB knowledge. I want to add command buttons, option buttons, checkboxes and list boxes to engineering calculations worksheets. The function of these features in my sheets would be very basic. I'd prefer to NOT learn VB and sidestep that using macro recorder as much as possible. (no offense)

Which of Mr. Excel's books would most help me? Or am I barking up the wrong tree?

Is there a shortcut key for strikethrough?
Ctrl+S is used for Save. Ctrl+5 is used for Strikethrough. Why Ctrl+5? When you use hashmarks to count |||| is 4, strike through to mean 5.
not so sure that all those can be done without VB. What a great opportunity to learn though. And with the MrExcel board to ask questions when you get stuck. You might want to look at the "free download" that Bill Jelen is offering on his new book.
