Where's MrExcel's Macros for Dummies?

First, Excellent site!
I started working with Excel a few years back, and found this site. I've found myself returning over the years to learn a bit of code whenever I was stumped, and now I really am. I'm looking for advice on what MrExcel package would be the equivelant to a MrExcel for dummies. I see the VB and Macro CD but it states it's for those who know excel. Does that mean you already have to know basic? :-?
I'm pretty good with all the basic array functions, but don't know diddly about Macros, VBA, or Pivot tables. This is what I think I need to learn next (correct me if I'm wrong), since every time I turn around I'm having to use excel more and it always seems to stretch the boundaries of my knowledge. Are macros a really difficult thing to learn? I'd love to go for the power bundle but can't quite afford the whole set now.

Any recommendations?

Thanks!
