When try'g to access an MDB get file locked becoz of Crystal

I created a small database in MSAccess; only 2 tables. These work fine. I then created a report with Crystal Reports v8.5. If the user trys to go in and make a change in MS Access they get a file locked error message only because Crystal is still open with the report and also does this unless you close crystal all together. I noticed that in the folder with the Access mdb file I also get a lock file with the same name of my MDB file.

Citrix
Crystal v8.5
MS SQL

Any help would be appreciated.
