What can I do to make my cursor visible within a reply-textbox. It's probably something simple I need to do, but I don't know what it is..

hi jim

What do you mean by reply textbox ? is it a textbox on a userform ? and why is the cursor not showing ? If you can elaborate a little bit more on this and post any code you hvae.

My question has to with replying to threads in the Excel Forum. I thick that I'm in some default mode which prevents navigation.

Oops ! Sorry I didn't see where this question was asked.

Are you using Quick Reply or Advanced?
It looks like it appears automatically in Quick Reply, and will show in Advanced once you click inside the edit box.

Are you not seeing this?
Which browser are you using?

OK, can you explain in a little more detail of when you do not see it (see the other question and observations in my previous reply)?

I had this problem, started with IE9 and reappeared in IE10.

Try changing to the Standard Editor.

How do I switch to the Standard Editor?
Its under Settings -> General Settings -> Miscellaneous Options
