Hi
I know Macros are written in vba code but I guess people usually refer to Macros when a user "recorded" the steps. Then the result of this recording is called Macro. But when a user open VBE and write the code, people do not call it Macro but they called code or sub. Am I right?

You can teach Excel a new custom list. Type the list in cells, File, Options, Advanced, Edit Custom Lists, Import, OK
A macro is a macro regardless of how it is produced. Code refers to the contents of the macro.

You are right... VBA (VB for short) is the language that macros, Subs and Functions (some other things too) are written in. A macro is a Sub with no arguments between its parentheses and which usually reads values from, operates on and/or writes to cells on a worksheet. And, as mumps said, it makes no difference how that macro is produced... whether from the macro recorder, manually written, copy/pasted from another workbook or online posting, imported from a previously saved export, etc.).
