When Do Changes to User Profile Take Effect ??

Hello;

1) Earlier today, I added a jpg image (24 KB) to my MrExcel profile:
.... User CP --> Edit Profile Picture

2) The picture is now shown under "Your Current Profile Picture".
But if I select any of my earlier posts/replies, they haven't been updated to display the picture under my username!!

a. Does the change to the user's profile (adding a profile picture in this instance) take effect right away ??
b. Should I wait for a while to see the changes ??
c. Does the changes apply only to NEW postings/replies ??
(If the answer to c. is YES, then the profile picture should show with this thread. But I Wouldn't know till after this thread is submitted.)

Your profile picture is only displayed within your profile. For a picture in your posts, you need to edit your avatar (also done within the user CP).
