When Answered Is Really Unanswered..

I don't know if anyone else has been frustrated by this situation.

Situation:
1) You start a New Topic with your question (after doing a search, of course)

2) Someone, while attempting to be helpful, misreads your question and posts a response unrelated to your original question. (The fault may lie on either end with the original Poster for being ambiguous or the Replier for misreading the question.)
Regardless, Your post becomes "Answered"

3)You watch your post go down... and down... and down the board. Sometimes you even reply to the Replier (with further clarification) but no one responds and your post goes down.. and down...

My point is that I feel unanswered posts get the most looks (especially by the MVPs) and therefore the best chance of getting answered.

If someone gives an unsatisfactory reply to your question, is there any way to make your "Answered" post become "Unanswered"?
