Hi all

I was looking at some video demos of Realbasic today and it seemed to
me (in my very limited IDE and coding knowledge) That it is a little easier
than VB IDE and language
Just wonder what your thoughts are
Thanks Bill

Has anyone used Realbasic. I am not sure howlond it's been
around. My main question was is it easier to write code within
the even handler (less symbols and comands) and stuff like
that
Thanks

Hi Buildology,

From my (admittedly limited) experience, if you're familiar with vb or vba, you'll find MS Visual Studio much easier to work with than Realbasic, simply because you won't have the same learning curve. Make no mistake, RealBasic is markedly different than the MS product.

Which product you choose may come down to a question of what you need to support. If, (as well as or instead of supporting Windows-based PCs) you need to support:
. mobile devices running a Windows OS, you'll need to use MS Visual Studio
. Macs and Linux, you'll need Realbasic
. mobile devices running a Windows OS, plus Macs and Linux, you'll need both.

Cheers
