Hi
I want to use what-if analysis (goal seek). I have the following

loan = 20000
term = 60
rate = 20%

payment = ($529.88) >> pmt(b3/12,b2,b1)

now I want to use What-if to find out if I am willing pay 350 per month then what the interest would be? So I clicked on What-if --> goal seek --> set cell B5 to 350, by changing cell B3

but I got ############# under rate cell and #Num under the payment cell?

What is wrong here? Thank you

Excel Facts

Waterfall charts in Excel?
Office 365 customers have access to Waterfall charts since late 2016. They were added to Excel 2019.
Change your payment formula to =-PMT(B3/12,B2,B1)

Now do the Goal Seek and you will see that your rate would have to be 2%.
