Hi everyone,
I'm a bit puzzled and need some advice and help.

I have a calendar in excel with dates along the top and events down column A

Now when we have something happening the cell turn red so for example if we have a meeting on 20/04/2019 with Wembley stadium it shows in that cell.
however to get the detail we currently click on the cell and a form pops up with all the data.
I'd like to create a way to get just a title when I hover over it.

I've found I can do this with Comment labels but have not used excel to create them before.
so here's what I was thinking as first experiment.
lets say I have the data I want in each cell,
lets make the range D14:BY40
so can I use a macro that when run will go though the range and if a cell has a value add a comment with that value in it??
or is there a better way?

Thanks

Tony

Excel Facts

Create a chart in one keystroke
Select the data and press Alt+F1 to insert a default chart. You can change the default chart to any chart type
Something like this?

Code:
Sub AddComments()
Dim c As Range

    For Each c In Range("D14:BY40")
        c.ClearComments
        If c <> "" Then
            c.AddComment
            c.Comment.Text Text:=c.Value
        End If
    Next c

End Sub
