What should MS do to improve Excel

Excel Facts

Wildcard in VLOOKUP
Use =VLOOKUP("Apple*" to find apple, Apple, or applesauce
The AVERAGE() function should be extended to have an optional second argument, AVERAGE( numbers, [weights]) . Then you could do weighted averages AND it would be backward-compatible.

AND and OR should be fixed so they work in array formulas.

Maybe some more animated office assistant characters. I'm thinking Eli the Excel Eel. This lovable creature slithers onto the screen and makes cute puzzled expressions whenever an error message appears.

Of course, improve stability.

Rather than one specific improvement, massive, all encompassing improvements of every ilk would arise from simply publishing the developers' phones and addresses. (Or the re-formation of Borland.)
