all of my googling and help searching has come up empty on what I thought would be a simple search.
I just want to find the keyboard shortcut to change the active tab in Access 2007. You know like what Ctrl+Page Up (or Down) does in Excel or Ctrl+Tab in IE
Does anyone know how to do this?

Excel Facts

When they said...
When they said you are going to "Excel at life", they meant you "will be doing Excel your whole life".
What do you mean by 'tabs'?

If you mean the various windows for tables/queries/forms etc then just use CTRL+TAB.

In access 2007, click on the Office Button, click Access Options, click Current Database...from here you can check "Tabbed Documents" so each query, table, form, etc. you have open has it's own tab

Isn't that the same as going to Tools>Options... and selecting Windows in Taskbar in earlier versions?

If it is then you can just use ALT+TAB to cycle through.

PS I don't know why you would want to do that, I've turned that 'feature' off in Access and Excel - but for some strange reason can't in Word.:)

thanks for trying, but no, the alt+tab does not work. that was the obvious first thing to try. anyhow after another hour digging I found it for those that need it. not one-handed as I would have liked to make it quick...

To cycle forward through tabs in access 2007 it is Ctrl+F6 and Ctrl+Shift+F6 to cycle backwards

Well I'm glad you found a solution - both ALT+TAB and CTRL+F6 work for me.

Obviously ALT+TAB goes through all open applications.:)
