over the last few months I have been grappling with upgrading my 2010 models to 2013 and found no end of problems. I am continuously runnnig into wierd excel errors that even MS can't explain. Add to that the ridiculous continuous calcuation of your workbook everytime you change anything in the powerpivot wndow and the whole experience is miserable. I must have hit escape over a 1,000 times this month.
I am about to embark on a new project and just got started in 2013 and already gettting tired of it. I am wondering whether to surrender and go back to the nice stable 2010. it seems a retrograde step, but I know it will make my life easier.
The question is what am I going to be missing out on by abandoning 2013. My workbooks are under !GB so i dont need that. I dont distribute to colleauges so dont need the sharing. Are there any new DAX functions I'm missing out on or something else I might regret?
Any advice on whether to stick with 2013 or go back appreciated
