Hi,

What is a custom print house?

I have created an application that I want to have printed on stock material created by another company. After sending them a sample of the application they told me I needed a custom print house.

Hope someone out there can help with this my search so far has left me empty handed.

Excel Facts

Formula for Yesterday
Name Manager, New Name. Yesterday =TODAY()-1. OK. Then, use =YESTERDAY in any cell. Tomorrow could be =TODAY()+1.
It's someone who prints one-off jobs. In our business we refer to them as short-run printers, because they can generally handle <50K pieces.

Depending on where you are FedEx/Kinko's might be able to do something. We use them for a lot of short run stuff. Or look up "Printing" in the Yellow Pages.

There are lots of considerations with printing, so you might want to be more specific, i.e. piece size, weight, paper stock, # of sides & inks per side, finish (heatset, UV, newsprint), finishing options like bindery, folding, etc.

If you point out what you're looking for and where I might be able to make some recommendations.

We have created a checkbook application that will print & store checkbook activities. If a check is the activity then it will print to a preordered check blank that has the account numbers and names already printed on them.

I'd call your bank and see who their check printer is. There are few houses whose sole function is check printing. I think that Deluxe Corp. is one of the bigger ones. Intuit business services may be another.
