Quick Sum
Select a range of cells. The total appears in bottom right of Excel screen. Right-click total to add Max, Min, Count, Average.
For me, its doing anything that makes so called 'Advanced Excel Users' eyes bug out as they had no idea Excel was capable of such a thing.
Particulary when they've spent 3 days trying to figure something out and you wander past and get it happening inside of 5 minutes.

Mine is more of VBA that fascinates me. Making applications for work that save tons of time. I love when I get work from someone and them telling me it takes them a day or 2 to do this and then after I get it I throw some new formulas in it and some VBA code and it takes me all of 30 minutes.

I love its flexibility. And it pays the bills :wink:
SQL and ADO are right up there, as well as pivot tables based on external data sets, the ability to read / write to OLAP databases, and the speed you get out of using VBA.
Just finished turning a 2-hour manual update of a large Word doc into about a 30-second job...
