Hello

I generated a macro through the recorder and it generated the following code:

ActiveCell.FormulaR1C1 = _
"§ 4,795..............

What does the =_ mean?

Also, is it possible to use multiline text/code for the ActiveCell.FormulaR1C1 ?

Thanks!

How to show all formulas in Excel?
Press Ctrl+` to show all formulas. Press it again to toggle back to numbers. The grave accent is often under the tilde on US keyboards.
The underscore is used to continue the line on the next line. If you have a line that is very long it can make reading easier if it is continued on the next line.

That's great, so I can use _ to break code lines like that?

some code _
continuing with other code

instead of writing:

some code continuing with other code

?
