What do the stars represent?

The little shiny stars beneath the Author and status label.... what do they represent?

Nothing, really. They're just for fun.

They are linked to the post count, though. I think it's set up to display one star for each 1000 posts, or something like that.

Thought so, but was wondering how many keyboards some of the excel contributors must have gone through to get those little stars :)
