In the Excel Questions forum, sometimes I see posting summaries with 5 (or so?) gold stars to the right of the title.
What is the significance?
And how did they get set?
I thought it might something the original poster is able to set to indicate a "really good" discussion or solution.
But, first, I don't see that feature in threads that I have posted to this forum ("About This Board").
And second, I have seen gold stars for threads in which obviously the OP is not satisfied with the initial response. The OP followed up with an "I don't understand" response.
(On the other hand, in other forum websites, I have seen OPs who regularly mark the first response as "answered", even if that "response" is just a follow-up question. The point is: OPs do strange things. I know.)
