Hello, not really looking for help... :)

I get "file not saved" errors on occasion, usually after working for a bit and wanting to save so I don't lose any work.
Or I get somthing like: "Do you want to overwrite changes" or save as new file.
"Or file saved but cannot be reopened due to file sharing issue"

Weird stuff like that.
It is like Excel thinks that the workbook is shared, it is not, and someone was in at the same time making changes. I am the only one in these files.

Computers are so frustrating...
I think our network is to blame. But I think Mordac works in our IT department so....

Excel Facts

How to create a cell-sized chart?
Tiny charts, called Sparklines, were added to Excel 2010. Look for Sparklines on the Insert tab.
I get issues constantly, where I've opened a file without knowing that someone else is in it, it doesn't open as read-only, it's not a shared file. Then I try and save all the work I've done to be told at that point that someone else may have made changes.

How does Excel even allow that to happen?

LOL. At least you actually had someone else in it. In my case the someone else, is me!!<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
I guess that is what happens when things age, they get a bit senile!! It appears that Excel has taken on some sort of consciousness and it is aging. ;)
