When I use the WeekNum function =WeekNum(A2,1) to pull the week number for a row of cells with consecutive dates excel is saying that Tueday is the first day of each week. What the heck is gonig on and how do I fix this? Excel seems to be off by two days - the clock in my windows task bar seems displays the right day. I also tried this on another computer and it did the very same thing. The two computers I tried it on are totally separate in everyway. Please Help!!

7/28/2008 and the cell is formated as a date. the rest of the cells follow the same format...7/29/2008, 7/30/2008, etc, for six months out.

Hmm... that is odd. I just tried it on my Excel and it uses Sunday as the beginning of the week.

MVPs? Any ideas?

Correction - The WeekNum is working fine, but what is throwing me of is the column next to it that references the date column and is formated to show the Day of week (i.e. Monday, Tuesday, Wedneday, etc), I had that reference all screwed up.

So its all good. thanks for you help though.
