Hi,

This is a long shot. I've set up a connection to a website that pulls historical data into a table in my spreadsheet. I've used the URL below to create the connection/query. My question is is there anyway of automatically updating "end=20180115" so each day when I refresh the spreadsheet it automatically pulls in the new days data rather than me having to go through each query updating the date (I plan on having lots of tables like this so having to update everyone will be really time consuming).

There is nothing I can do on at website end so just wondered if there was anything I could do in excel to achieve this.

Thanks

Are you using a 'From Web' Power Query connection? If so, you can configure the query to use the URL from a table cell value, where the cell value is a formula which constructs the URL with the current date. Configuring the query means using the Advanced Editor to edit the query text so that it uses the cell value from the table (which changes according to the current date) instead of the hard-coded fixed URL. This makes the query use a dynamic URL according to the current date.

See if you can follow the steps at https://social.technet.microsoft.co...source-url-with-power-query-?forum=powerquery, and if not I'll try to help further.
