Working with Excel 2016 from Office 365.
I have a workbook that I created in a previous version of Excel (2013). I have multiple web queries pointing to an internal company website that I have selective data being pulled into Excel that I can refresh daily to get bandwidth statistics. I am attempting to add a new query, however, I am running into an issue where after I enter the url, the Excel internal browser will no longer let me select certain portions of the webpage(the small orange check boxes at intervals on web preview in the Excel browser). I have a yellow banner at the top of the web preview that states "Table highlighting is disabled because this page uses Internet Explorer's Compatibility Mode." The file is saved and an "Excel Workbook .xlsx"
Is there a way to tell the internal browser to not use compatibility mode? Any advice is most welcome
