Hi there, hope everyone is well this day.
I have a web query that goes to bank's exchange rate. Using the icons with Excel19, it will bring in the exchange for the first time. When I open the spreadsheet that has the query the next day, the link is broken and will not refresh. Has anyone else had this issue and what were you able to do to get the query to update every time the spreadsheet opens or when you select refresh?
Thanks

Convert text numbers to real numbers
Select a column containing text numbers. Press Alt+D E F to quickly convert text to numbers. Faster than "Convert to Number"
Consider getting your data from the web site using Power Query. Each time you open the workbook it will automatically refresh if you set the connection to refresh upon opening.

Thank you for your reply. It is set to refresh when opened. When I go through the Power Query setup, it loads a table with two rows and one column (1st Row is the date, 2nd Row is the exchange Data required). It there a way to load only the required exchange data without the date row?

This is the apparent problem; the table on the website changes the date every day. The Query goes out to look for the date from the first time the query was set up, Sept 21, so when the site gets queried the next day, Sept 22, the query won't bring the data in and gives the error message below. Where did I go wrong?
