WE CANNOT SUMMARIZE THIS FIELD WITH AVERAGE

Please help me, I managed to show text values on my pivot table but when i want to show the average an error always shows saying " We can't summarize this field with average because it is not supported calculation for text data types". thank you!

Sort by date Sort by votes
How do you expect to average text?
