Awhile ago I was working for a company managing their budgets. My boss knew I was good with Excel and sent me a copy of a waterfall chart that was created by another person no longer employed by them. Excel Facts

Why does 9 mean SUM in SUBTOTAL?
It is because Sum is the 9th alphabetically in Average, Count, CountA, Max, Min, Product, StDev.S, StDev.P, Sum, VAR.S, VAR.P.
Wow Jeffrey, that is quite interesting stuff as I work with waterfall's allot.

Is this something what can be downloaded to have a look?

As Fluff said, I uploaded the file so you can use it for free.

When I needed this the most, I was making several changes a day. It used to take a person over an hour to get the new labels and values updated before I automated it. They may have been somewhat of a neophyte, but still, it saved me tons of time.
