Here's the algorithm for what I'm trying to accomplish:

  • Watch folder for a CSV file
  • Open file in Exsmell
  • Fold, Spindle and Mutilate the file
  • Save said file to an .xlxs file with the same file name
  • Email file.
If you're wondering why I need to do this, I have a PHP script that generates a table & exports it to a .CSV file. Since PHP is a server-based language, I need a way to get the generated Excel file back to the one who ran the program.

Is this even possible with VBA, or do I need something more heavy-duty?
