I checked my other computer and it says 8GB of RAM, 7.8 available.

What might be causing this and is there any way to fix it? I checked active processes and there was nothing that was taking much ram, not that I would expect my computer to take into account active processes.

Sorry if this question is too 'un-excel' for the forum.
