I am using VSTACK but my tables are in another workbook. If all workbooks are open then the function works fine.
If I close the source workbook where the table is and leave the destination file (VSTACK) open all is ok.
However, if I close all files then just open the destination file (VSTACK) I receive the #REF! error message.
All path names are correct, eg, https://xxxx.sharepoint.com/blahblah/folder/Book1.xlsx!Table1[#Data] etc, etc.
Any ideas how I can get it to work with closed workbooks.

Excel Facts

Lock one reference in a formula
Need 1 part of a formula to always point to the same range? use $ signs: $V$2:$Z$99 will always point to V2:Z99, even after copying
I would bring that external tables into Power Query and then VSTACK that table
