I have data in 6 columns in one worksheet Name, Key, Status, Locations, Type, Datasource and then another worksheet with the same columns, but there are other columns in between. How can i run a vlookup to ensure data agrees in all columns? Can someone please help.

Excel Facts

Format cells as date
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+3 to format cells as date. (Shift 3 is the # sign which sort of looks like a small calendar).
Re: Help needed w/VLOOKUP

I just want to match the information in the two worksheets, preferably on the original worksheet.

Re: Help needed w/VLOOKUP

Based on what value? The vlookup needs a value to search for.

If all of the rows are the same you might be better off just doing a cell reference on Sheet-2 back to the same cell on Sheet-1.

So on Sheet-1 in Cell A2, which would be the first "Name' value, just put in =Sheet-1!a2

This would populate the cells for what you need, no need for lookups.
