I would like the vlookup cell to have NONE instead of #n/a.
I was able to get it to return a 0, but can't seem to get it to return NONE.

Why can't spreadsheets drive cars? They crash too often!
choose:
=iferror(vlookup(a7,aaa!a17:c48,3,false),"")
or
=iferror(vlookup(a7,aaa!a17:c48,3,false),"NONE")

u can use =IFNA(your_vlookup,"NONE") instead of IFERROR()

Try:
=iferror(vlookup(a7,aaa!a17:c48,3,false),"NONE")

Are you sure that the VLOOKUP is returning #N/A and not 0?
