I have just started using excel 2010, I have made an invoice and I created a price list, then use vlookup to create the drop down list and used it in the fomula to create the pricing per unit automatical from the chart. The problem is that I am a photographer and I might have someone buying differant photos in the same size for eg. Photo 1of4 as a 6x4unframed price is £18.00 line 2 will be Photo 2of4 as a 6x4unframed price is then £N/A. The 6x4unframed is the item coming from the table and the price should be £18.00 Photo no.s will change depending on customers so cant put this in chart.
my invoice is made up of :
Photo No. Item Qty Editing requirements frame mount print each Amount
What I would like to do is when I put a product in the Item coloum it finds the item automatically and puts in a price each from the table that I have created no matter how many yimes i use that same product.
I an using excel 2010 in windows 7 pro
Thanks
Darren

Excel Facts

What is the fastest way to copy a formula?
If A2:A50000 contain data. Enter a formula in B2. Select B2. Double-click the Fill Handle and Excel will shoot the formula down to B50000.
You should attach your excel file - your explanation is pretty confusing - you cant vlookup same item more than once?
