VLOOKUP Error

Porque la formula de VLOOKUP presenta errores o no funciona cuando estoy trabajando con dos libros diferentes? Es decir estoy en el libro 1 y busco informacion en el libro 2, pero la formula no funciona.

Usted puede hacer un VLookup() que hace referencia a otro cuaderno. Va a querer actualizar (poner al día) los valores cada vez que abre el cuaderno.

¿Me pregunto si la fórmula VLookup() funciona si usted mueve la hoja de referencia dentro del cuaderno que tiene la fórmula VLookup()?
