hi,
i have two curves connected to form a tear shape. i'm trying to fill this shape with color but it will not allow me to do it...(even after i group them, right click, format, fill)
Try creating the shape in one hit. I had a play in Visio 2003 and used the Arc tool to create 2 curves that joined back to the start point. That can be filled.
If you make a series of disconnected curves it can be very difficult to link them together and make Visio treat it like a shape rather than a series of lines.
If you use the Freeform tool you can get pretty creative. Add and remove control points as required to get the shape you want.
