Good afternoon all - last call of the day.

I need to group a number of items in a Visio drawing, to enable me to copy and paste them to an identical Visio drawing in one step instead of having to copy and paste them individually. They also need to appear in eaxctly the same position in the target drawing as they did in the source.

I was looking for a "Group" tool similar to that on Excel's drawing toolbar, but didn't have any luck.

Thanks in advance - all advice gratefully appreciated!

Excel Facts

Which lookup functions find a value equal or greater than the lookup value?
MATCH uses -1 to find larger value (lookup table must be sorted ZA). XLOOKUP uses 1 to find values greater and does not need to be sorted.
It depends on which version of Visio you use. Up to 2007 still uses the toolbars, and you'll find the grouping options (as well as heaps of other useful functionality) on the Action toolbar.
Not sure where to find it in 2010; I haven't used it enough.

Thanks, Denis - I'm using 2003, so this is exactly what I was looking for - thank you and have a good Christmas! Middle of the night over there at the moment, is it?
