Second time this has happened to me. My computer at work has just informed me that this website tried to install a trojan on my computer. I'm not sure what it was, maybe it was a tracking cookie or something. File name I believe was consrv.(???)

I am curious if anyone knows anything about this.

Can you remember which page you were on when it happened?

It has happened twice when I google a question and click on a link to one of the threads here relating to that question.

So does it happen when you hit this site, or when you click the link in Google?

When I come here. Maybe an advertisement or something? I know a forum I used to frequent had a [rogue] advertiser that used javascript to backdoor you when you visited.

It's not something I can look into so I'll bring it to the attention of the admins and see if they can figure it out.

What's your antivirus?

McAfee - "OnAccess Scanner"
