Why is it that, after pressing the subject selection at the top-right of the "Excel Questions" screen, I get the listings, almost all with a "0" in the "Replies" column, which is fine, but, a few have a "1", and I've seen a "2" and, even, a "4" there. I do a refresh and,...same thing. I answer one of these posts, and, when I do a refresh, that post desappears from the "View unanswered posts" screen, and appear in the "Excel questions", with 1 reply, as it should do. But, I go back to the unanswered screen, and, the old "1", "2", what-have-you, are still there. Why don't they go away, as they should?

O.K., I've just noticed that, in the present crop of "View unanswered posts", the first two "pages" with 1 answer have been answered by the poster. Unfortunately, since most of the ones I see thus answered are sort of "oops, I've solve my problem". So, no answer is required, and they should just go away from the "View unanswered posts", but, they don't. Maybe this should be fixed?

View was that it's better to still have posts as unanwered if the only response was from the OP - could be them bumping their thread back up the lists. better that the OP gets their question addressed & a few people view "answered posts" in the unanswered lists, than genuinely unanswered threads disappear off into the ether.

...it still shows up in the "View unanswered posts"

Don't see it on the first 9 pages...
