Here is an example of a company called Novavax (Ticker NVAX)
There are 2 scenarios, that I am seeking solutions. This is only part of their pricing history, so
if I have several more rows, the formula would need to work on that as well, please.

Both scenarios detect when a stocks price goes down 3 days in a row (meaning- Close to Close).
HOWEVER, the formula must ignore if a stock goes down more than 3 in a row.
For example, if a stock goes down down down down down, then it would only register as 1 result.

So that you have a visual, I would need the calculations where the YELLOW HIGHLIGHTED cells are.
Where it says <<- ONE RESULT You could rename it to whatever you wish like MATCH or YES.

Excel Facts

Workdays for a market open Mon, Wed, Friday?
Yes! Use "0101011" for the weekend argument in NETWORKDAYS.INTL or WORKDAY.INTL. The 7 digits start on Monday. 1 means it is a weekend.
Try these? There's nothing overly complicated about them though?
