I am working in spreadsheet 1, and need Excel to look at column B, go to spreadsheet 2, find the value (it's text) from that spreadsheet, and tell me if there is a number in a corresponding column which is greater than zero.

An example:
SPREADSHEET 1
Region Pet
North America Mouse
South America Mouse
South America Dog
South America Monkey
Europe Monkey
Europe Dog

SPREADSHEET 2
Mouse $1000
Mouse $500
Dog $0
Cat $5
Dog $0

I've tried a combination of VLOOKUP, SUMIF and COUNTIF functions, but I'm just missing something. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Excel Facts

Which came first: VisiCalc or Lotus 1-2-3?
Dan Bricklin and Bob Frankston debuted VisiCalc in 1979 as a Visible Calculator. Lotus 1-2-3 debuted in the early 1980's, from Mitch Kapor.
Hi
Sheet1 C2 =IF(VLOOKUP(B2,Sheet2!A2:B25,2,FALSE) >0,VLOOKUP(B2,Sheet2!A2:B25,2,FALSE),"")
Drag the formula till the end of data.
