Hi

I'm trying to scrape an webpage.

Code:
        Dim html As HTMLDocument
        Dim oHttp As MSXML2.XMLHTTP60

        oHttp.Open "GET", o.url, False
        oHttp.send

        Set html = New HTMLDocument
        Set html.body.innerHTML = oHttp.responseText

Compile throws up an error "Invalid use of property' with the line
Code:
        Set html.body.innerHTML = oHttp.responseText
with the .innerHTML highlighted. What's wrong with that?

If I comment it out, run and debug on the line above I can see the objects in the locals window, html.body.innerHTML and oHttp.responseText are both there and both are string types.

I've got the Microsoft XML Library 6.0 checked in the references and MSXML2.XMLHTTP60 is the right type for 6.0.

Cheers

Excel Facts

What is the last column in Excel?
Excel columns run from A to Z, AA to AZ, AAA to XFD. The last column is XFD.
Set is for object variables, not scalar variables like strings, numbers, Booleans, ...
