Hello.
Today I got a task to work with MS Share Point through Excel.
This is not a simple upload to a specified location. It's more complicated, at least for me.
The upload appears as completely new file in the same view but when I right click mouse on a file I can go to the whole history of previously uploaded files and open them (condition - they must have exactly the same name during upload).
So to upload the file there's a below procedure:
a) from the main view click Administration location from the left menu
b) in the new window specify path to a certain file, tick add a new version to existing files
c) in the new window specify all other properties of the file.
I hope this is well visible in the uploaded screenshots below.
Question - is it even doable through Excel?
