I would like to run a VBA on button (sheet 1) click that runs a V-Lookup (from sheet 3 to sheet 1) and pates the 'Values Only' under the date the column (sheet 3) that matches when the button is pushed.

This is because the data in Sheet 1 is always being updated and I want to be able to keep a historic record of key category numbers without manually copying and pasting. The Categories listed in sheet 1 change depending on the source data so it is never the same list twice.

I will be handing this sheet off to someone else to manage so I am trying to make it as basic as possible with them only clicking a few buttons to date and record everything.
