Hi all,

i have a UserForm that populates the WB it is sits in, but what i need it to do is paste into a read only WB, i have the code to do the copying but i am stumped on the code to

1 remove read only and open file
2 copy data and then re-save (same filename) as read only

this needs to be done when a Commandbutton is pressed on UF

the read only WB is only read only and not password protected as users still need access to it

any help would be greatly appreciated

Excel Facts

Which came first: VisiCalc or Lotus 1-2-3?
Dan Bricklin and Bob Frankston debuted VisiCalc in 1979 as a Visible Calculator. Lotus 1-2-3 debuted in the early 1980's, from Mitch Kapor.
Why is the read only WB read only?

Is it already open?
