VBA to force drop down

Hello,

I need some help with a form control (not active x) combo box.

I want it to force the box to drop down when another button is clicked.

The reason for this is that a user can't click on a dropdown arrow if they still have an active cursor in another cell, but they CAN click on a button that causes the box to drop down.

Question also posted at VBA to force drop down
but board seems to not be active.
