VBA to create password protected PDF output using Adobe Pro Dc

If anyone at all has experience or can help me out with using VBA to create a password protected output file using Adobe DC (or similar Adobe product) I would be eternally grateful!

This is the code I have so far which generates a pdf output:

    ActiveSheet.ExportAsFixedFormat Type:=xlTypePDF, Filename:= _

        IncludeDocProperties:=False, IgnorePrintAreas:=False, OpenAfterPublish:= _
