Dear Excel community,

I have a spreadsheet where I will update periodically, key economic indicators such as manufacturing PMI, GDP growth rate as well as balance of trade for various countries for example.

The data source will be via this website: https://tradingeconomics.com/malaysia/indicators. Malaysia for this example.

I am seeking help for the most efficient VBA to extract the relevant metrics as mentioned above for copy into excel periodically for easy reference and comparison.

Your thoughts and contributions are much appreciated!

Best Regards,

When did Power Query debut in Excel?
Although it was an add-in in Excel 2010 & Excel 2013, Power Query became a part of Excel in 2016, in Data, Get & Transform Data.
No VBA needed.

Have you tried inserting a Web Data Query?

Data tab on the ribbon, select "From Web", enter the website, pick the table to import, click [Import].

Then to refresh, select Data tab, "Refresh All".
Or, right click in the query, select "Refresh".
Also, right click in the query and pick "Data Range Properties" to select refresh frequency and other options.
